What is Coffee and a Camera?
Coffee and a Camera is a photography company in Longview, Texas. Our idea is that business and photography is better with a friend (just like coffee). We are two photographers that want to capture invaluable moments in yours and your family’s lives whether that is through newborn, family, senior, engagement, or just because pictures. We want to travel the world and show how beautiful this creation is.
What all do you offer?
First, we want to make you feel beautiful, pampered, happy, and relaxed. We want to offer you approximately 2 hours where you have fun in front of a camera by yourself or with your loved ones. After the session, we will send you a link to your online gallery and app for your mobile device. If you decide, you can order from a variety of products to display your photos: think wall hangings, albums, calendars, mini statues, or social media postings.
What types of sessions do you do?
We do the typical newborn, yearly, smash cake, family, senior, engagements, and wedding sessions. However, we love other options. Ready to pop the question and want a photographer to catch the moment? Want to do a trash the dress after your wedding? Want us to come along on your bachelorette party? Want to do a session just because? Let’s do it. Have an idea for a special shoot? Contact us. We love creativity. Think of us as your Baristas of Photography. We’ll customize it just to suit you.
We love to shoot outdoors and on location. For the newborn shots, we will come to your home so that both baby and mommy (and/or daddy) are in their most comfortable environment. For seniors, engagements, and family shots, we will head to a location of your choice. We will happily work with you to determine what is the best choice for your photoshoot.
Do both photographers shoot my session?
No, unless you booked a multiple photographer wedding. We work just like any other photographer you would hire. If you prefer to have one of us shoot your session, mention it. We will have that photographer work with you.
How do I book a session?
Great question! Send us a message on our Contact page detailing what type of session you want (newborn, family, etc) and where (Longview, Kilgore, Dallas). We will get back to you as soon as possible. Once we work out the details, pay your session retainer to secure your date on our schedule. Your session is not booked until we receive the retainer.
When is the best time to book a session?
As soon as you know that you want a session, it is best to schedule as early as possible to ensure that you get the date that you want. The squishy newborn shots are best within the first 14 days after birth.
How much is the retainer?
The retainer is a non-refunable $175. Paying the retainer secures your session on our appointment books. Your session is not booked until we receive the retainer. The remaining of the session fee is due before the shoot begins.
Can I reschedule?
With a week’s notice, you can reschedule with no fees.
What if it rains?
There is no penalty if the weather forces us to reschedule. Gloomy weather is actually pretty nice for photos. It adds all the soft features and light that we love in our photos. We will keep an eye on the weather and let you know asap if the weather will force us to reschedule.

We are located in Longview, Texas.
Where do you shoot?
