Senior Photo Sessions

Here is the basic rundown of what will happen:
Our relationship will begin a few weeks before your session. You'll get to relax in my home studio with your favorite drink. We'll collaborate to build your session story: the story of you. We'll plan your wardrobe, locations, and all the details. You won't have to stress over anything.
On the day of your session, you will arrive to your hair and makeup appointment with a clean and moisturized face. My hair and makeup artist will pamper you and get you camera ready.
All you have to do is enjoy every step of the process.
My senior session with Kimberly was so much fun, and she did such an amazing job. We all started out with the planning. I got the opportunity to really sit down and talk with her about what I wanted to do and plan my own vision. Kimberly did an amazing job at capturing all the laughs and fun times. What to expect
If you are looking to do what everyone else does and to just get a few "pretty pictures" for your Insta, I might not be the right fit for you. I'm not your basic senior photographer.
There's only one you. Only you can tell your unique story.
THIS IS YOUR YEAR, YOUR TIME TO SHINE.
Don't worry, I'll be there every step of the way to make sure that this is one of your greatest experiences of your senior year.
Don't worry, my sessions aren't a "hi, nice to meet you now smile!" type event. I want to get to know you before your session. What makes you, you?
If you choose to book with me, this is when the scheduling fee is due to hold your date, and we'll start to plan your session.
Step 1: Consult
Before the consult appointment, I will send you a questionnaire that will give you a few starting points and inspiration to get your ideas flowing for your session.
This is when your senior session will start to come to life; bring ALL your ideas!! Be prepared to tell me everything you envision for your session.
Don't worry, this is the same time as your consult, so you won't have to schedule another block of time from your already crazy busy schedule.
Bring all the outfits that you are considering. Don't forget accessories! For girls, these might be necklaces, earrings, and bracelets. For guys, these might be a fedora, a bowtie, or a sports coat.
The 3 outfits I suggest for all seniors:
A trendy outfit that is all you
A timeless outfit
A formal outfit
These can overlap (for example, the formal outfit can be a super trendy prom dress or more of a timeless style). Have suitcases of ideas? Great!! Bring them all!
During our consult, I'll give you all my insider tips and tricks on how to prepare for your session and how to start right away on how to look and feel your best.
Step 2: Session Styling
I work with an amazing hair and makeup artist that does an amazing job ensuring that you feel gorgeous and your skin looks its best.
If you have sensitive skin or concerns, let me know and she will give you a call before to give you her professional tips and tricks.
Step 3: Hair & Makeup
You don't have to know any posing. I'll be here to guide you! At the beginning of the shoot, I will teach you everything you will need to know. You just come ready to have fun and relax. Today is all about you, your story, and having fun.
We will twirl to music, dance with glitter, and laugh like no one is watching. I want you to enjoy yourself and to be absolutely relaxed. Don't worry about posing or what you look like. That's all me. I know how to pose for all body types and how to accentuate your favorite features. I know how to using lighting to create or remove the drama when necessary.
Step 4: Session Day
THE NEXT DAY, you'll return to my studio to view and order your gorgeous images. Yes! I offer next day viewing!
Forget the fear that you'll have to sit at home to build a book at some online retailer with choice paralysis and not knowing which images to choose. I've worked with countless seniors to narrow through the options and find the favorites.
Step 5: Reveal & Ordering
All products are purchased separately from the session fee at the reveal & ordering appointment. Most seniors and their families typically purchase wall art, an album, digital negatives, and announcements.
