"You're so silly, Mommy! It isn't even Halloween, yet, and you are posting all these Christmas pictures!"
I know! I know! I am SO not that person. But! Have you ever been in that last minute rush to get your Christmas cards out on time? Have you ever raced through traffic to get to the post office before it closed? Have you ever frantically looked at the calendar and wondered where the time went? Guys, I don't want this to be you!!
But, getting pictures done in time to send out on Christmas cards takes time! We all have to think ahead. It takes time for us to find a date for our session. It takes time for me to work through the pictures and weed out the ones where you are blinking. It takes time for us to design your gorgeous books. It takes time for my professional photo labs to send the books, prints, and frames to me and then for me to deliver them to you. On top of that, my printing labs put an early deadline on when I can order to receive the items in time for Christmas! I don't want either you or me to look at the calendar with only a few days left before needing to get those pictures and not being able to have a session because all our our calendars are booked full.
I want to enjoy TODAY. I want to enjoy every moment of the fall. I love October. I love the changing trees, the fall festivals, band competitions, football, and everything that goes along with fall. But, let's all think ahead and schedule that photo session today.
